Strategic Market Mapping

Strategic Market Mapping is a proactive and highly effective business intelligence tool. It is utilised by clients who are looking to gain in-depth information in regards to key individuals within their competitors and also in establishing a ‘talent pool’ of candidates within a specific market / sector.

The process is completed through two key stages:

  • Identification of relevant individuals including job title, areas of responsibility, contact details, reporting structure and career history.

On completion of stage 1 a consultation meeting takes place between McCoy James and the client to discuss the information gathered and to agree an action plan.

  • On approval, McCoy James will directly contact individuals identified and gain additional information from them such as salary details, loyalty factors, career history, frustrations, companies they rate in the market and why / would they consider making a move.

Interested candidates are pre-screen interviewed by a McCoy James consultant and a candidate response report is submitted to the client providing a summary of information gathered and other areas of interest.

The information gathered through this strategy is designed to provide the client with key information which is useful in formulating their future growth strategy and talent pool.
