Executive SearchExecutive Search is a comprehensive service which concentrates on identifying, attracting and recruiting the industry’s most talented individuals. A designated consultant is assigned at the start of each assignment and has personal responsibility for managing all aspects of the process. Every assignment develops through discreet stages within a framework that we have developed over a number of years. The following provides an outline of our approach for each assignment: Assignment Consultation – Confirmation of our understanding of the assignment with all decision-makers involved in the appointment to ensure that, as a group, we are working towards the same goal. A comprehensive assignment brief will also be prepared for the client to ensure full understanding of the responsibilities of the position, culture, organisation structure and agreed competencies. Market Research – This involves conducting a confidential analysis of the market to identify target companies and suitable candidates within a defined criteria e.g. industry sector, geographical location etc. By networking through our industry contacts we will also identify further key individuals who are rated in the market and verify suitability / success of the individuals identified through our research. Confidential Approaches – Once identified confidential approaches will be made to prospective candidates to ascertain their interest and experience in relation to the position and make an initial assessment of the individual’s suitability for the role. Competency Based Interviews and Personality Profiling – In-depth competency-based interviews are then conducted to discuss in detail candidates experience and achievements in relation to the role. Candidates will also be benchmarked against key competency areas critical for success in the role e.g. leadership or influencing skills. At this stage candidates will also complete a personality profiling test if requested by the client. Client Shortlist Consultation – A shortlist of suitable candidates will be presented to the client with a detailed written summary, Curriculum Vitae and personal profile (if utilised) to provide them with key information from the interviews and consultant recommendations. Client Interviews and Offer Process - The managing consultant will then co-ordinate and assist the client throughout all interviews, including the briefing and de-briefing of both client and candidate, and in the offer process. |
